We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Crane Operator to play a key role in our expanding aquaculture operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a modern facility supporting Scotland's thriving aquaculture industry, with full training and development provided for the right candidate.
About the Role
As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of aquaculture nets from our industrial washing system and aquaculture workboats. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will help ensure that customer equipment is handled, processed, and returned to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating cranes and lifting equipment safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading aquaculture workboats and industrial washing machinery
- Sorting, handling, washing, and packing aquaculture nets
- Carrying out lifting and rigging operations in accordance with company procedures
- Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety, Biosecurity, and Environmental compliance
- Supporting colleagues to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the facility
Previous experience in crane operations, rigging, or handling aquaculture nets would be advantageous, but is not essential. Comprehensive training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop specialist skills within the aquaculture sector.

Salary & Hours
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- £15.00 - £19.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience
- Equivalent to £31,200 - £39,520 per annum
- Overtime, when required, paid at 1.5 times the standard hourly rate
