Improved fish welfare
MarWall is ELDI’s semi-closed solution designed to reduce biological risk and improve fish welfare. By drawing water from 25 meters depth, the system lowers lice exposure and ensures stable, oxygen-rich conditions. Acting as an effective barrier against lice and jellyfish at 12–18 meters depth, MarWall enables controlled water exchange, stable temperatures, and optimized oxygen levels.
This significantly reduces fish handling, biological costs, and mortality, while improving biomass growth and increasing the proportion of superior-quality salmon. MarWall also supports sludge collection, provides full control of water dynamics, and can be easily installed on existing cages.
