ELDI Scotland Ltd is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Net Menders at our new Service Station in Kyleakin, Isle of Skye.

The Role

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Inspecting aquaculture nets to identify damage and wear
• Carrying out repairs to a high standard
• Accurately recording repair work completed
• Maintaining quality, safety, and operational standards
• Working effectively as part of a team

About You

Previous experience in:

• Net mending
• Sewing and stitching
• Ropework
• Aquaculture or marine industries

would be advantageous, but is not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidates.

We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and capable of maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Salary & Hours

• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
• £13.50 - £17.35 per hour, depending on skills and experience
• Equivalent to £28,080 - £36,088 per annum
• Overtime, when required, paid at 1.5 times the standard hourly rate
