The anchor attaches the farm to the seabed. The type of anchor used is mainly determined by the bottom conditions where the aquaculture farm is to be placed. The size of the anchor is determined from the mooring analysis.
ELDI offers plow anchors (500 to 3000 kg) that can be used on sandy bottoms, and patent anchors (1500 kg to 4000 kg) that are used on seabed’s dominated by rocks.
