FlexiLink®

FlexiLink® has been on the market since 2012 and is ELDI’s metal-free solution for mooring frames. Designed to reduce mechanical wear, the system lowers maintenance requirements and extends inspection intervals to up to 24 months, compared to six months for conventional solutions—resulting in reduced lifetime cost.

FlexiLink® was developed in collaboration with SINTEF and industry partners. Testing conducted by SINTEF shows that loop-based connections provide higher strength than traditional cable-and-shackle configurations, contributing to improved safety margins and long-term reliability.
