Documented collaboration and commercial success

As a basis for the establishment of Rotor Aqua, the parties have over the past two years worked closely together on the development of a new product line for sludge handling in aquaculture – BioSeize. The product line is already in use in the market and has generated significant interest.

BioSeize is developed for more gentle handling of sludge compared to competing solutions, with a particular focus on preserving the quality of the final product. This contributes to increased value of collected sludge, while the solution supports stricter requirements for documentation, biosecurity and sustainability in the aquaculture industry.

BioSeize system, consisting of FISHIT® and ConeCollect, is a concrete example of what we achieve when technology development and operational experience work closely together. The past two years have shown that this collaboration delivers real value for customers, and together in Rotor Aqua we have a much stronger foundation for further scaling, says Eskil Hansen CEO of Rotor Systems and Thomas Myrvold, CEO of ELDI Group.

Technology developed for industrial requirements

The aquaculture industry faces increasing requirements for efficient operations, resource utilization, documentation, and sustainability. The partners see a clear need for solutions that provide better control over complex processes, and that can be seamlessly integrated into existing operations.

Our strength lies in the combination of process understanding, automation and digital tools. With BioSeize, we have developed a solution that handles sludge more gently, while being built for industrial operation and further digital development, says Yngve Askeland, CTO of ELDI Group.
